Prison Sentences for Child Abusers

Catherine Pattison, leading Anna Dutka, prosecuted this case of causing or allowing serious physical injury to a child at Snaresbrook Crown Court. The case involved complex medical expert evidence and life-threatening injuries inflicted upon a 3-year-old child. Today the child’s mother and her boyfriend were sentenced to over 10 years and over 11 years’ imprisonment respectively.
