Allegation of Historical Sexual Abuse

Bartholomew O’Toole represented a man aged 55 of previous good character accused of 9 counts multiple rape and other serious sexual offences by his niece when she was 8-12 and he was 32-36. Following a 2-week trial at Woolwich Crown Court, the defendant was found not guilty by unanimous verdicts after the jury had been in retirement for some 8 hours.
