Conspiracy to Supply Class A drugs
Alejandra was instructed as the Leading Junior to represent BL who was charged with Conspiracy to Supply Class A drugs. The case related to a large-scale conspiracy to supply drugs across the UK, involving voluminous telephone downloads, covert observations and police intelligence records.
The trial was halted during the Crown’s case and the jury was discharged.
Money Laundering - Ongoing
Alejandra is being led by Jeffrey Israel in representing AK, one of eight defendants accused of defrauding a large number of victims and businesses in the UK, Canada, Trinidad & Tobago and the USA. The total sum of monies defrauded is over £3m. The Crown’s case is that the organised crime group arranged a large number of payment diversion frauds where victims were defrauded into diverting direct debit payments to ‘mule’ accounts. One of the business targeted is said to be American Express. Having obtained the money through the diversion frauds, it is alleged that the money was then laundered through mule accounts. This case involves voluminous amounts of banking and telephone evidence.
Attempted Murder, wounding with intent and having an offensive weapon – Ongoing
Alejandra is instructed to represent AN who is charged with Attempted Murder following a stabbing on a Victoria Line tube train. This serious charge is complicated by gang membership, bad character and CCTV evidence.
The Defence case is that AN was acting in self-defence, having been threatened by the complainant with a knife.

Employment Fraud - Ongoing
Alejandra is instructed as sole counsel to represent JZ, who is one of 10 Defendants alleged to have been involved in a large-scale employment fraud and money laundering operation.
Rape, Assault by Penetration and Sexual Assault
Alejandra, acting on behalf of the CPS, is instructed to prosecute the case against BAC who is charged with seven counts of rape, assault by penetration and sexual assault.
The Crown’s case is that BAC took advantage of the complainant’s drunken state following a night out for her birthday, raped her in a car park and outside a leisure center whilst she was unconscious due to intoxication and then took her to her house. When the complainant woke up the following morning, the Defendant failed to tell her that they had engaged in sexual acts the night before and instead told her that he clothes was muddy because she had fallen on the floor on the way home. The multiple rapes are captured on CCTV.
Rape, ABH and Bladed Article
Alejandra, acting on behalf of the CPS, prosecuted JB who was charged with three counts of rape, ABH and threats with a bladed article.
The Crown’s case was that JB had booked the complainant via an esort service to attend his home for companionship. Upon the complainant attending, JB refused to pay for her services and instead raped her vaginally and orally before assaulting her.
Appeal of Conspiracy to Supply Class A drugs
Alejandra represented the Appellant at the Court of Appeal (Criminal Division) on an appeal against sentence following the imposition of a 28-month sentence of immediate imprisonment at Norwich Crown Court, following guilty pleas to two counts of Conspiracy to Supply Class A drugs.
It was successfully argued that the sentencing judge had failed to apply any discount to the Appellant’s sentence for personal circumstances and personal mitigation.
Following successful appeal, the sentence was reduced to 24 months imprisonment, suspended for 2 years.

Murder - Ongoing
Alejandra is being led by Liam Walker KC in representing NH, a youth, charged with murder. The Crowns case is that NH, together with his co-defendants murdered the victim by stabbing him repeatedly to the chest and back. The Crown’s case against NH is that he acted jointly with his co-defendants despite not being the person who delivered the fatal stabs. The case is heavily reliant upon expert evidence, bad character and gang evidence.
Attempted Rape - ONGOING
Alejandra is being led by Ali Naseem Bajwa KC of QEB Hollis Whiteman, in representing AJ, a local musician, who is charged with attempted rape. It is alleged that after a drunken night out, AJ took the complainant to his home address and attempted to rape her as she slept.
Import of Class A Drugs - ONGOING
Alejandra is being led by John Okajov of 2 Harcourt Buildings in prosecuting Operation Genie. The Defendants are charged with offences relating to the importation of cocaine from Colombia though London Heathrow Airport. It is alleged that arrangements for couriers, collection and transportation of the class A drugs were made through EncoChat and various other Telephones.
Perverting the Course of Justice - ONGOING
Alejandra is being led by Liam Walker QC of Doughty Street Chambers in representing CK, a well known rapper on the Urban music scene. CK is charged with perverting the course of justice and possession of ammunition without a firearm certificate following a gang related tit-for-tat shooting on the Harrow Road in 2019.
The five-month trial took place in 2022, following which the jury were unable to reach verdicts for CK. A re-trial is due to take place in October 2023.

Sexual Assault
Alejandra represented Squadron Leader J who was charged with sexual assault following an alleged incident that is said to have occurred during a commemorative dinner at an RAF Station. Following Alejandra’s submissions on abuse of process, the prosecution offered no evidence.
Child Destruction
Alejandra was led by James Newton-Price QC of Pump Court Chambers is representing AD who was charged with child destruction, wounding with intent and perverting the course of justice. The prosecution case was that AD assaulted his pregnant partner by delivering blows to the stomach that caused the placental abruption that led to the baby’s still birth.
Fraud, Willful Neglect & Theft
Alejandra was led by Mark Ruffell of Pump Court Chambers in prosecuting MB and GB. The Defendants were charged with fraud, willful neglect, and theft, arising out of their supply of care services to a large number od disabled and vulnerable adults. It was alleged that MB and GB were overcharging for the provision of care, stealing money from the individuals that they cared for and willfully neglecting the same individuals.
Kidnap & Rape of a Child
Alejandra was instructed as sole counsel to represent MF who was charged with kidnap and rape of a 6-year-old child. It was alleged that MF snatched the 6-year-old complainant from the front garden of her home as she played, took her into a nearby park and raped her.
Attempted Murder
Alejandra was instructed to represent MR, as sole counsel, who was charged with Attempted Murder. It was alleged that following a domestic incident, ME strangled his mother until lost consciousness and then left her for dead.
Sexual Assault
LCpl BM was charged with sexual assault following an alleged incident at BATUS where it was alleged that LCpl BM grabbed the complainant from behind and licked the back of her neck.
Due to severe investigative failures by the RMP, Alejandra made an abuse of process application which resulted in the Service Prosecuting Authority offering no evidence.
Manslaughter & Attempted Robbery
Alejandra was led by Sarah Jones QC of Pump Court Chambers who was charged with manslaughter and attempted robbery.
Rape, Sexual Assault & Voyeurism
Alejandra was instructed as sole counsel to represent ARF charged with Rape, sexual assault and voyeurism. The Crown’s case was that after a night out at Viper Rooms in Kingston, the Defendant went back to the complainant’s home uninvited, and while the complainant slept he touched the complainants clitoris on two separate occasions, took pictures of her naked as she slept and raped her. It was alleged that the incidents happened as the complainant’s friend slept in the same bed.
Following a four-day trial, the Defendant was acquitted on all counts.
Attempted Murder & Wounding with Intent
Alejandra was instructed as sole counsel to represent MMJ, a youth, charged with attempted murder and wounding with intent following a gang-related stabbing in South East London.
Sexual Assault
Alejandra represented Sig Q who was charged with sexual assault. Following an application to dismiss, the SPA decided to accept pleas to lesser offences of a non-sexual nature.
Appeal of Sentence
Alejandra represented TL at the Court of Appeal in an appeal against sentence. TL pleaded guilty to attempted rape and sexual assault on two separate complainants. It was alleged that following a drunken night out, TL snuck into the two complainant’s army barracks through the window and attacked them as they slept.
Appeal of Conviction
Alejandra, led by Sarah Jones QC of Pump Court Chambers, represented the appellant who appealed his conviction on the basis that the trial judge at Preston Crown Court had made an error of law when ruling on a section 41 application and matters that ought to have been left to the jury, had not been. At appeal, the Court of Appeal quashed all the convictions, and a re-trial was ordered. Having received a 12-year sentence following the first trial, MB was acquitted of all charges at the retrial.
Perjury
Following a 3-week trial with four Defendants, Alejandra’s client, the second Defendant was acquitted of perjury.
Attempted Rape & Sexual Assault
Alejandra represented LCpl L who was charged with attempted rape and sexual assault.
