Dominic Webber is an experienced criminal practitioner. During his lengthy career he has demonstrated fearlessly independent advocacy, both as a leading junior and acting alone, specialising in Crown Court defence work in the South East of England.
He considers that the most important qualities in a criminal advocate are courage, determination and thorough preparation, including mastering the factual detail of a case and the increasingly complex legal provisions, guidelines etc. that currently apply in almost every case. Dominic has particular expertise in port/border, drug trafficking and sexual offences, including cases alleging child abuse. Over the years, he has appeared in numerous reported cases in the Court of Appeal and in cases that have appeared in the national news.
Dominic specialised in jurisprudence in his final year at university, when reading philosophy, he lives in the countryside and rides horses.
